Art & Vine Music Line-Up
Art & Vine will feature three outstanding musical acts.
4:30 PM - The Dave Fox Group

The Dave Fox Group, based in Greensboro, North Carolina, plays a unique
mixture of jazz and creative improvistion with hints of rock. Gatewalk, released
on the AssembledSound label out of Chapel Hill, iincludes twelve original
compositions.  The group's follow-up project, If These Songs Could Talk,
combines modern original tunes alongside inventive and unique
interpretations of standards.
2:30 PM - The Hall Monitors with Sam Frazier

Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist (acoustic & electric) Intelligent lyrics,strong
Vocals & musicianship in the tradition of Bob Dylan, Ry Cooder, Steve Earle,
Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Randy Newman, and a host of others.
12:00-1:30 - Soul Central, featuring Jaybird

Soul is the Jaybird's primary domain, but you can find a little bit of everything
on his menu: Luther Vandross, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin
Gaye and Al Green are the entrees, with a little Teddy Pendergrass served on
the side.

The 'Bird has been cooking his soul recipe for nearly four decades. In the late
'60s, he sang in Black and Blue, a group that Bill Griffin, a local beach music
impresario, put together. The group featured Linda Green, the second
Peaches of the group Peaches and Herb, who had hits with "Shake Your
Groove Thing" and "Reunited." Black and Blue had a regional hit with "Of All
the Hearts to Break, Why Mine?"
